Wieke started playing drums since 10 years back, during her high school time. She joined an “official” extracurricular all-girls-band in her school. At first, she intended to take the position as a guitarist, but happened to be, she’s more needed at this post.
Some of her music influence came from Mr Big, a well known late 80’s American Rock Band. She became a fan of this group when she was 10 years-old. Later part, she grew up mostly with bands like Greenday, Weezer, Cranberries, Third Eye Blind. She thinks 1994-1996 was her best time of exploring her music taste.
Nowadays, she is keen on listening to original and unique music, like KT Tunstall which she admires so much. Although she also tries to review some of the old legendary bands, such as Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Police (yes, she actually paid $600 when the Police held their! reunion concert in Singapore).
