Adam - You are right. And if I may add, the decision makers of the organizations should read this too because their buy-in is as important.

This book makes a good addition to a library of monographs on consumer psychology. However, this book also belongs in the classroom to open the eyes of students to the complexity of our being, our thinking, and our motivations. It would also provide worthwhile supplemental reading for a graduate course in consumer behavior. For marketing managers who are interested in thinking deeply about their products/brands and their relationship with their customers.

Darkspore - Ha ha ha ... you are a funny man. I think for my next business book review, I may separate it into two sections and have the summary placed on top.

I guess what I really wanted to do was to pen down how the book relates to my own personal experience. In fact, I have used some of the book's idea during my project's brainstorming session on project branding. They works wonder. Somehow it is quite easy to explain metaphor to my team using real life case studies from the book.

Good lord! Is everything about you as long? :-P Sounds like an interesting book. BTW I was just wondering what if you are asked by McGraw-Hill to review a really boring book? And I mean really boring ... the type that you just want to put down after half a page...
